Centrálny depozitár cenných papierov SR (CDCP) continues to digitize services on its electronic portal. The new features are aimed at simplifying work in the electronic environment, increasing security, and streamlining communication with clients.
An important change is the option to sign documents on your mobile, without needing to use an ID card reader. Issuers will be able to sign requests just by using a QR code in the Disig WEB Signer Mobile app. Issuers can download this app for free from app stores. “By modernizing the portal, we are responding to the needs of our clients and, at the same time, to growing security requirements. Our goal is to make the use of central depository services as simple, fast, and secure as possible”, says Peter Nagy, Director of the CDCP Operations Division.
Electronic invoices
From the beginning of October, the central depository will make available on its electronic portal the management of e-mail addresses for sending electronic invoices. Clients can report a change in the email address designated for sending electronic invoices using a standard form. The security of client access to the portal will be enhanced by two-factor authentication. “The Central Securities Depository of the Slovak Republic continues to pursue the trend of digitization and will bring further innovations that will simplify the work of clients and support modern and secure electronic services in the field of securities,” adds Peter Nagy, Director of the CDCP Operations Division.
Gradual introduction of changes
Clients of the central depository could have noticed the first changes in the digitization of services as early as July this year. At that time, the overview of submitted requests was expanded to include key data. Specifically, ISIN (in the case of book-entry securities) or ČEM (in the case of certificated securities) was added. This makes it easier for users to search for requests by key data, which specifies the information about the submitted request. Similarly, clients can now conveniently copy submitted requests, edit them, and send them.
