Centrálny depozitár cenných papierov SR, a.s. (CDCP) continues to expand and modernize its electronic CDCP Portal. The new functionalities introduced in 2025 respond to the needs of clients and are aimed at simplifying electronic communication, increasing security and streamlining the daily work of users. The modifications were preceded by a satisfaction survey among portal users.
The most significant innovation is the possibility of signing documents via a mobile phone without the need for an ID card reader. Issuers can now authorize requests by simply scanning a QR code in the Disig WEB Signer Mobile application, which can be downloaded free of charge. This step brings greater comfort and at the same time responds to growing requirements in the field of cybersecurity.
In October, CDCP has also made available the management of the e-mail address designated for sending electronic invoices. Clients can report a change of address directly through the portal using a standard form, which simplifies administration and communication with the depository. The security of access to the portal will also be strengthened by the introduction of two-factor authentication.
Clients could notice the first changes already in July, when the overview of submitted requests was expanded to include key identification data – ISIN for book-entry securities and ČEM for paper-form securities. Searching for requests is thus more transparent and faster. The portal also allows to copy already submitted requests, edit them and re-send them.
CDCP will continue to digitize services with the aim of providing modern, secure and user-friendly electronic services for capital market participants.
